His class stresses the development of an internal feeling (commonly referred as KI) through Aikido training and the applications of Aikido in daily life. Through intensive training Takehara sensei has developed a deep understanding of the internal energy flows that drive our bodies and keep us fit an active for life.

Takehara sensei’s class called “Internal Aikido” is a rare opportunity for both beginners as well as for advanced aikodokas as to learn about a side of aikido that is not taught in traditional dojos and is usually only secretly taught at the highest levels of practice.

Due to Takehara sensei’s busy schedule the class is only offered based on his availability and space is limited. We encourage all to take advantage of this rare opportunity to advance their practice and personal lives. Please check our schedule to find out about the availability of Takehara sensei’s class
